Metal fabrication process

1. Casting: After pouring molten metal into a mold, it cools and solidifies into a casting with a certain shape.

2. Plastic forming: Plastic forming refers to the processing method of obtaining parts or blanks with certain shape, size and mechanical properties through plastic deformation of metal materials under the action of external force. Plastic processing can be divided into five types: forging, rolling, extrusion, drawing and stamping.

3. Cutting processing: the process of using cutting tools to cut off the excess processing amount of metal workpieces on the cutting machine tool (or by hand) to achieve the specified shape, size and surface quality.

4. Welding processing: It is a process that makes full use of the characteristics of metal materials that are easy to melt under the action of high temperature, so that metal and metal are connected to each other, and it is an auxiliary means of metal processing.

5. Powder metallurgy: It is a process technology that uses metal or metal powder (or a mixture of metal powder and non-metal powder) as raw materials, after forming and sintering, to manufacture metal materials, composite materials and various types of products.
